With a month to go before the 2021/22 Premier League campaign kicks off all FPL managers, new and old have started assembling the squad for the new FPL season. Here is a list of the top FPL tools and resources that should help you achieve your FPL objectives.
I have avoided the big names in FPL like the Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Fix because most people know about them. All resources are either free or have a lot of useful free features.
Every week, I write about all things FPL. Right from Game-week reviews, Game-week previews, FPL trends, captain picks and much more. Come along!
1. FB Ref
FB ref is the best football statistics website on the internet. Anyone can easily get their hands on football data through the FB Ref website. They offer expected stats like expected goals, assists, expected goals and assists per 90 and non-penalty expected goals. Apart from that you can get match reports, stats on specific players and much more.
2. Fantasy Football Manager App
The user interface of the official PL app might not be very user friendly. The Fantasy Football Manager app offers a much better experience while making your transfers and using your chips. The app also pushes notifications hours before every deadline which from personal experience I can say is an absolute life saver.
3. Premier Fantasy Tools
The premier fantasy tools is a great tool for any FPL manager. It has a lot of useful features like FPL Team analyzer, FPL mini-league analyzer, FPL planner, Fixture difficulty, transfer concierge, transfer analyzer, bench recommendations and other tools. One of the tools I personally love is the hindsight dream team, where you can basically look at your accuracy in picking the right players in your first 11.
4. YouTube Channels
Nathan Bacon FC is the funniest FPL related YouTube channel there is. Apart from being the funniest YouTube channel his videos are pretty helpful too. He posts quite regularly and has deadline livestreams as well as watch-along livestreams.
FPL Penguin is an underrated YouTube channel for FPL. According to his Instagram he has played over 13 editions of FPL and has finished top 107k (which is a very respectable rank). His videos are generally pretty much to the point. He too has livestreams once in a while.
The content on this YouTube channel is just as interesting as the name. This channel has a very different style of content. You could say his approach is a very data driven approach. He uses scatter plots to back his selection. This channel does not post very regularly, but when he does the content is absolutely top drawer.
5. Ben Dinnery’s Twitter:
Ben Dinnery is a journalist who is rather famous among the FPL fanbase. He posts about injuries in the Premier League. You might wanna follow him to keep yourself up to date with injuries in the Premier League.
